Every pet starts as an egg.
Hold it, turn it, keep it warm. Walking warms it too. The better you look after the egg, the better the grade your pet is born with.

Four kinds of eggs
Starter eggs are easy. Legend eggs need warmth kept in a narrow range and turning every few hours, and they can hatch something special.
Your steps feed it
Every 1,000 steps becomes a snack, up to 10 a day. Walk together and your pet may grow up active. Walking is never required.
It talks to you
Your pet says good morning, thanks you for dinner, misses you when you are away, and now and then asks you a question.
Alive on your wrist
It hops, blinks, looks around and dozes off when tired. Spark puffs smoke, Chirp flaps its wings and Dango wobbles.
Grades and levels
Each pet hatches with a grade from C to S and levels up as you care for it. Very rarely, a legend egg hatches a pet in shiny colours.
Kind by design
Your pet never dies and never loses a level. Stay away more than a day and your bond slowly fades, never below a milestone you reached. Going away? Vacation mode pauses everything.
Daily missions
Send your pet on a short adventure, from a garden hunt to a ruins expedition. Harder missions need a higher level and bring back more XP.
Stories together
Six short stories with choices to make. Each ending becomes a memory you keep, even after your pet sets off on its journey.
A bond that grows
Care, chat and walk together to build your bond and unlock four special moments, different for each species. Care every day to build a streak for bonus XP and snacks.
Seasonal festivals
The Pumpkin Festival, Winter Festival and Lunar New Year bring bonus snacks, festive lines and a keepsake stamp to collect. All built in, no internet needed.
Gentle reminders
A nudge when your pet is hungry, dirty or sick: at most twice a day and never at night. Turn them off any time in the settings.
Glance and pet helper
Check on your pet from the glance without opening the app. The pet helper shows your battery, phone connection and steps toward today's goal, with a tip from your pet.

Questions people ask
When can I get CastXM?
CastXM is in development. It will be free on the Garmin Connect IQ Store. Email admin@joinfuns.com if you would like to try it early.
Can my pet die?
No. A pet that is not looked after gets sick and grumpy, and medicine fixes it. At the end of its life it sets off on a journey and leaves you a new egg.
Do I have to walk to play?
No. Walking earns snacks and helps your pet grow up active, but every form can be reached by caring for your pet, and a day without a walk is never held against you.
What happens if I forget about it?
Time keeps going while the app is closed. After a day without care your bond slowly fades, never below a milestone you reached. If you are away for more than two days, your pet sleeps through the rest instead of starving, and needs a little extra care when it wakes. Gentle reminders, at most twice a day and never at night, can nudge you; you can turn them off.
Which watches are supported?
86 Garmin watches with at least 256 KB for apps, including fēnix, epix, Forerunner, Venu, vívoactive, Instinct, MARQ, Approach, Descent and D2. The Connect IQ Store will show the exact list for your watch.
How long does a pet live?
About three weeks from hatching. If you do not open the app for two days, your pet naps until you come back instead of growing up without you.
Does CastXM need the internet?
No. The first release works fully offline on the watch. It does not collect personal data, and your step count never leaves the watch.
Is there an Apple Watch version?
It is in development. You can help care for your pet from your iPhone, or raise it on the iPhone alone. There is no release date yet. Email admin@joinfuns.com if you would like to hear when it is ready.
Will I be able to visit friends?
It is planned for a later version: pets visiting each other and walking goals with friends, only between people who both agree. Nothing is shared without your consent.
